The Toronto Computer Lawyers' Group was formed in 1984 by several lawyers in the Toronto area who were interested in getting together on a regular basis over lunch to discuss the law and computer technology as existed at that time. Since then, the membership of the TCLG has grown to more than 150 lawyers who work primarily in private practice or for corporations.
The topics addressed at TCLG meetings have expanded beyond traditional computer law issues, reflecting the convergence of diverse industries brought about through the power of digital technology.
In addition, through our web site, email and modern communications, we can now also extend our reach across Canada and around the world to lawyers who share our common interest.
