Mr. Raysman speaks and writes extensively on technology issues. He is the co-author of the books Emerging Technologies and the Law: Forms and Analysis, Computer Law: Drafting and Negotiating Forms and Agreements, and the treatise Intellectual Property Licensing: Forms and Analysis. He alsowrites a monthly column on computer law for the New York Law Journal.
Mr. Raysman is past Chair of the Business Law Section of the New York StateBar Association and past Chair of its Finance Committee. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the American and International Bar Associations, the Computer Law Association and the Licensing Executives Society. Prior to practicing law, he was a systems engineer for IBM Corporation for six years.
He is admitted to the New York and Connecticut Bars, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, the U.S. District courts, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Supreme Court.
A founding partner at Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner LLP, Mr. Raysman practices out of the New York office, where he is also a managing partner.
