TOPIC
Cybercrime continues to make headlines and cause rising concern among business executives. High-profile cyberattacks such as the ones at Sony, Target and Ashley Madison are not only increasing in number, they are also becoming progressively more sophisticated and destructive. In a recent report[1], a record 1,500 data breaches led to one billion data records compromised worldwide during 2014. It was also reported that these numbers represent a 49% increase in data breaches and a 78% increase in data records that were either stolen or lost compared to 2013. Increasingly cybersecurity incidents are becoming widely publicized leading to greater reputational, and ultimately financial, risk for organizations. Therefore it is clear that information security should be at the forefront of concerns across enterprises.
Join our panel discussion to learn more about recent trends in cybercrime, legal developments, tools and tips to manage risk of cyber breach, response plans and operating in the aftermath of a cybersecurity incident.
Lunch will be served at noon and the presentation will begin at 12:30 pm.
