ABOUT THE SPEAKER
J. Fraser Mann
Fraser Mann is a Partner of Miller Thomson LLP with more than 25 years of experience in technology and intellectual property law. He has extensive experience preparing and negotiating outsourcing agreements, e-commerce agreements, licensing agreements, procurement agreements, development agreements, telecommunications agreements and public sector/private sector strategic alliances. He also provides advice on all legal issues relating to the use of the Internet, copyright law and privacy law. Mr. Mann is the author of Computer Technology and the Law in Canada (Carswell); Editor-in-Chief of the quarterly newsletter Information & Technology Law (Carswell); and co-author of Internet Law (Carswell) and Electronic Commerce, A Practitioner’s Guide (Carswell). He is a frequent speaker at conferences on technology law. He is past Co-Chair of the Technology and E-commerce Law Committee of the International Bar Association, and past Chairman of the International Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association. He has also been recognized as a leading technology lawyer by publications such as Chambers Global Guide, the International Who’s Who of Internet and e-commerce Lawyers and Best Lawyers in Canada.
COST FOR ATTENDANCE
Cost for lunch: ten dollars ($10) for members and students, twenty dollars ($20) for non-members, payable at the meeting. Receipts will be available. Cheques should be made payable to the Toronto Computer Lawyers’ Group.
