This is a follow-up program to the TCLG’s May 17th Canadian Anti-spam Legislation (CASL) program. This event will feature Lynne M. Perrault from the Canadian Radio-television Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) who will be delivering prepared remarks on CRTC’s plans for enforcement of CASL, including an overview of CRTC’s recently published Electronic Commerce Protection Regulations. She will then answer questions received from in-person program attendees as well as selected questions received by email.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Lynne M. Perrault (Canadian Radio-television & Telecommunications Commission)
Lynne M. Perrault is the Director of the Electronic Commerce Enforcement Division at CRTC and a member of the team that is implementing Canada’s Anti-spam Legislation. Before joining the CRTC, Lynne served as the Executive Director of the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance of Canada from 2009 to 2011, and prior to that she was a Competition Law Officer/Electronic Evidence Investigator with the Competition Bureau from 2002 to 2010.
COST FOR ATTENDANCE
Cost for lunch: ten dollars ($10) for members and students, twenty dollars ($20) for non-members, payable at the meeting. Receipts will be available. Cheques should be made payable to the “Toronto Computer Lawyers’ Group”.
